MILOTA HAVRÁNKOVÁ FOUNDATION AWARD

Upon the decision of an expert three-member jury, the Milota Havránková Foundation Award is given to an artist for the best independently published photography book in the OFF Libris section. The partnership, established between the OFF Bratislava festival and the Milota Havránková Foundation, is under the personal patronage of Prof. Milota Havránková. The award focuses on supporting talent in the field of photography and new media. The winner will receive a 1000 Euro prize, symbolizing not only recognition of their artistic work but also an investment in their further creative development.

Yvonne De Rosa, the first recipient of the Milota Havránková Foundation Award, skillfully navigates between archival work, documentary investigation, and art photography in her book A Mia Madre, offering a reflection on war, pain, loss, and mourning.
